My journey in privacy began with my educational foundation in law at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, followed by specialized qualifications in IT-Networking and Cybersecurity from Chestnut Education Group, and a Master of Laws focusing on Data Protection Law from the University of Central Lancashire. My professional experience spans over 20 years, including roles such as Data Protection Officer at Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr AöR, where I developed comprehensive privacy policies, establish a team of privacy professionals, and ensured GDPR compliance. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Privacy requirements for software and service providers, furthering my commitment to integrating privacy into organizational processes and IT systems. I was trained and certified via EuroPriSe acc. to Art. 42 GDPR as a consultant.
