Amit Gadhia is a dual qualified lawyer (Kenya and England) and sole proprietor of ‘Amit Gadhia Advocate’ in Nairobi, Kenya, CIPP/E and a certified Global Privacy Officer (ECPC-G) with over 25 years of experience in the legal sector. Amit has advised several international and regional organisations on all matters data protection. He is also a Global Data Protection Officer trainer with the European Centre for Privacy and Cybersecurity (Maastricht University). When Amit is not practicing, he can be geo-located running in Karura forest with his better half, watching a football (mainly Arsenal) match or reading (mostly privacy) books.
